Ballarat Synthetic Overview:
Mainly keen on Fine Evader but want to have something on Layel. Was really keen on her chances prior to the resumption at Sale off the back of a couple of sharp jumpouts and she looked to travel very nicely in the run but as soon as the big effort was required and asked for, she went backwards. Just need to have one more look at her before penning her. Fine Evader did some nice things for us at the odds last time at the track and it well and truly proved that his go in life is on Synthetic tracks because he absolutely bolted in. Has since had a Hurdle trial to keep him ticking along and I don’t think the depth this time around is any stronger than last start when he won so the $5.50 looks more than acceptable.
