$100 Win Foxborough R5 @ $3.9 (Sportsbet)
Not easy for three year olds to beat older horses never mind two year olds, but she’s looking to get a win, get some money in the bank and squeeze into the JJ Atkins field so you’d like to think she’s just about at her peak for this. Just missed out in the Fernhill two back before coming back in trip over 1350m at Wyong and just not sure the set up was ideal. Back in distance on a tight track, back near last. Thought her run was good in a race that clocked faster time than the Class 2 on the same day. Bigger track, up to the mile again, I’m keen on her.
$25 Win Parlay 2,3 = $100 Cost
Green Ivy R4
Pinyin finds a perfect maiden to get win one on the board. Gun ride from Mick Dee first up at Mornington but Des Moines was just far too classy in a maiden which I think the first three are handy, Pinyin included. Just needs luck from the draw and she’ll be winning IMO. Looks to be a bit of intent about Realism in the third with the blinkers going on, a gear change that worked for the stable last week via Thurmanator. This girl ran at Sale last time and was a bit one paced when asked but kept on and was sound late. Hoping the blinkers can spark her up. Green Ivy does look the good thing on the program but $1.45 is too short given he was beaten in maidens prior to the VOBIS Sires run at Caulfield, which was good behind Tarwin. I think $1.70-$1.80 is his right price but unlikely to get that given the depth is non existent.
