$100 Win Judicator R1 @ $2.8 (TAB)
$1.50 v $2.80 Disco Mo v Judicator seems rather odd. Admittedly Disco Mo has the metro form next to his name and the last run has produced a couple of winners. My query with him is that he’s been up a little given this is his first prep and I just think all the upside is with Judicator, who was very good on debut at Wyong over 1350m when held up for the most part before getting clear late and attacking the line with real purpose to run third to Front Sight, who ran second to subsequent city winner Embracer the start prior, so the form around him reads well too and he’ll love the bigger track and rising to 1500m. If he handles a track with genuine give in it, I think he’s the bet.
$10 Win/$40 Place Stick With Me R4 (Tote)
$10 Win/$40 Place Get On R6 (Tote)
I think there are a couple of decent e/w plays here, hopefully at good odds, starting with Stick With Me. This girl ran over the track/distance last start and was five wide on speed throughout, and at Gatton, that’s just suicide so a total forgive. Draws a bit better this time around so hoping Hannah Phillips can get cover and finish hard late. Get On has been a grand campaigner for Trevor Thomas and I reckon the rising 11 year old mare is going well enough to figure in the finish. Ran over 1300m at Beaudesert last start where she got a fair way off the pace and was never a factor but did make ground late and was good. Somewhat of a track specialist at Gatton, winning 2/3 and this looks a really thin race.
