Kick Ons R1
Imay Shout R5
Kick Ons resumes in the first and I think the market may swing come jump time. This Tom Button youngster was good on debut here before going to Rocky when pulling up shin sore before being tipped out. He has had two jumpouts over 400m at Yeppoon in readiness for his return and 400m trials are 400m trials, but he looked to be in good order. Imay Shout looks a great chance in the fifth and will be surprised if she doesn’t start near fav. Loved the way she let down to win here two back before going to Rocky where she had to be dragged back from the wide barrier, but found the line strongly. Draws gate one this time around, can sit closer in the run…she’ll be hard to beat. If Trerice is ever going to run a mile, it will be here. Draws a soft gate, down in the weights, hard fit, in form on the home track. He’s been one of the form gallopers in North Queensland in recent times, lumping big weights to get the job done. Very hard to beat the way he’s going about it currently.
$100 Win Duality R6 @ $3.8 (TAB)
Ballarat Synthetic Overview:
Think this race is all about Duality and where he’s at. If he’s right, he wins. Hasn’t raced in over a year and first up on the Synthetic is always a query, but he had a recent jumpout on the track and was one of the standouts of the morning, bolting up in leading all the way in pretty sharp time relative to the morning. Has the speed to come over and lead and when he has form around the likes of Mount Kilcoy and Fifty Stars, that clearly reads well for a race like this. Pleasing to see early support. Hoping that early move is correct.
