$30 Win/$70 Place British Isle R7 @ $13/$3.4 (BetEasy)
Echuca Overview: I think the market will be the guide as to whether or not this bloke is a winning chance but I’ll take the punt on him at the odds given how sharp he trialled. That trial came recently on the Ballarat Synthetic where he led all the way and absolutely bolted in, running the quickest time of the morning under a hold. Has been gelded, is a winner on wet ground, is a first up winner…Credible Witness does look the danger but $2.90 is short enough for him given he had every chance fresh at Sale.
$100 Win Crazy Pops R1 (Tote)
Mount Gambier Overview: The Paul Preusker stable via English Gambler was disappointing on Friday at Geelong but I’ll butter up via Crazy Pops, another new stable acquisition. Former Queenslander having his first run for the new stable and it does look very good placement but the depth looks near non existent. Had a jumpout at Mornington and he looked to move very well to my eye, and on his Queensland form, bit of give in the track will be fine.
