Taree
$100 Quaddie = 125% (4/1-2-6-8/1-2-3-4-8/1-2-13-14)
Taree Overview:
Made Power Of Wexford the best of the day but unfortunately nothing flash re price. So I’ll take her one out in the quaddie. The second leg looks to have value with Clunes Rocket, who is back at Taree, where he saves his best. Star Fest was good last time and can go close with a repeat effort. Party Host and Sawtell hard to beat, while I’m happy to risk Bedivere. Third leg I’m giving Just Sizzling one last chance before penning him. Also including Akamin, Kate’s Pearl, Stoddart and Highton, the latter two at good value. Last race I think Resinite or Toast likely win, but at value I tipped Gypsy Queen, who was good last time. Whonicked De Lolly I also included and am taking on Jamaican Drain, who draws tricky and overall form is suspect.

Three Beans R2 Win
Halcyon Dame R3 Win
Espadiero R4 Place
Fine Evader R8 Place
Ballarat Synthetic Overview:
Made Three Beans one to look out for via ‘From The Trials’ after an impressive trial win last week at Werribee. Team Hawkes don’t normally run them on the Synthetic unless they think the horse will handle it. If he handles it, he wins. I think Halcyon Dame is limited but her Birthday/Easter/Christmas could all come into one in the third. When the second fav is a bludger like Able Fun, it tells you the depth is thin, and Halcyon Dame was good in what looked a strong maiden last time. Not quite sold on Espadiero in terms of a win play, but definitely runs top three. Showed a real liking for this track last time out when back and making up really good ground. Tricky draw, but I’ll leave that in the capable hands of Johnny Allen. The horse who I think is a silly price is Fine Evader at $26+ in the last. His recent form has been so so but ran on this track last time and made up good ground from well back in the run to finish third behind Racing Paradise and Dunman, who would be clear favourites here. This horse has run twice on Synthetic tracks and has shown a liking for it. Hopefully around $5-$6 place, he can run a bold race in what looks as if it will be a strongly run affair.
