Sky Racing:
Their market moves might be suspect, but all credit to them and shoving Victorian racing to their second tier channel. Why should they bow down to an arrogant organisation.
Randwick:
Race One Number 6 Allergic (1st):
I sacked him after a couple of sub par efforts in Victoria, but gee he is loving life in Sydney at the moment. Didn’t beat much here, but he spanked them and did it easily. Wouldn’t look out of place in a blacktype event.
Caulfield:
(Forgive) Race Five Number 13 Gretna (11th):
Trialled well, but just copped too much pressure on speed and faded out of it. Don’t drop off her. She’s a good horse and will be winning races.
Race Nine Number 5 Blendwell (6th):
This mare looked a little unlucky. Got back in a slowly run race and never really got clear until it was all over. Her first up run had excuses and the jump outs prior were sharp, so she can bounce back soon.

Racing Victoria:
I am all for 30 minute gaps between races. But surely you’d co-operate with the other racing jurisdictions and broadcasters. But no, Racing Victoria wants to show everyone how big their proverbial dick is. It’s just pathetic for the punters
Bruce “Snowy” Clark:
Thinking of nicknaming Bruce “Todd Carney”, simply because he is a bubbler. Some of his tweets on Saturday were quite simply laughable and embarrassing. Clearly had his Victorian hat on where he really can’t comprehend the arrogance and ignorance of Racing Victoria.
Randwick:
Race Six Number 4 Hasselhoof (4th):
His form overseas was a worry, and that proved right here. Talented horse, but he is no star. Listed/Group lll horse at the very best.
Caulfield:
Race One Number 1 Commanding Time (8th):
Looked well placed here, but didn’t really fire a shot and was quite disappointing. Perhaps a drop in class/depth next time out for him.
Race Two:
I was tempted to have a run down the straight because dear me…they took forever to get to the post. Definitely don’t want to follow this as a form reference.
Caulfield Race Five Number 1 Dalradian (6th) Brad Rawiller:
Just didn’t get this ride at all. Poured the pressure on the first starter, who wouldn’t come back, so I won’t blame Nick Hall. Pointless pressure put on and rightfully faded out of it. Not one of his best.
