Flit was the obvious from the Prelude and is at short odds with Sportsbet.com.au to get a Group l win next to her name when she lines up in the Thousand Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield this Saturday.
The James Cummings trained filly ran in the Prelude with a break between runs and was the clear unlucky runner, bolting for clear air but not getting it in the straight. Gate two looks tricky on paper, but she has Bowman to steer and is favourite to get better luck this time around and sitting at $2.30 but has been easy in the market.
The best backed to beat her has been another Godolphin filly, Blue Diamond winner Lyre, who got down to $5 from $6.50 before settling at $5.50. Missile Mantra is next best in betting at $9.50 and has been easy.
