Race One:

The Robert Smerdon stable are known as one which dosen’t mind to have a punt, and they have launched into their first starter in the Inglis Banner (1000m) on Saturday at Moonee Valley.

Fontition, an impressive trial winner on Monday at Cranbourne, has been $3.90 to $2.70 with Sportsbet, while as much as $5 was offered with other betting agencies and they have copped the same amount of punter support.

Key Market Mover: Fontition ($3.90-$2.70)

Race Two:

This has been a very active race so far with punters, but the best go appears to be Eight Bills, who has been $17 to $12, while the speedy Minaj has firmed to $7.50 from $9.

The other one that has had support at a longer price is the one down the bottom, Inspector. The Peter White trainer galloper has been $26 into as low as $18 before easing to $19.

Key Market Mover: Eight Bills ($17-$12)

Race Three:

Lumosty clearly holds sway at the top of the betting at $1.75, but the lone horse to be supported has been Tahni Dancer, who has firmed to $4.60 from $5 after her outstanding effort in the Thousand Guineas (1600m) behind Amicus.

Key Market Mover: Tahni Dancer ($5-$4.60)

Race Four:

Nothing major to report here. Only firmer has been the topweight Pressing ($8.50-$7.50). Law ($8), Risen From Doubt ($5.50), Bullpit ($41), Lazayaxi ($21) and Galaxy Pegasus ($5.50) haven’t budged from their opening quotes.

Key Market Mover: Pressing ($8.50-$7.50)

Race Nine:

The patience of punters with Suavito is starting to wear thin and it’s showing in the market moves, with the mare easing to $3.40 from $3.30. Tango’s Daughter opened at $5.50, then got out to $6.50 before being crunched into $5. Ava’s Delight was also met with support, firming to $5 from $6 before easing half a point. Jessy Belle hasn’t moved from her opening quote of $11.

Key Market Mover: Tango’s Daughter ($6.50-$5)
