Bint El Bedu is the stayer with upside in the Bagot Handicap (2800m) this Monday at Flemington and Sportsbet.com.au punters are confident she can run well in the feature.
The Mick Price trained mare was three weeks between runs when racing over 2400m at Caulfield last time out and she just bottomed out late behind Etah James ($4.20F). Has the fitness now and up to 2800m will suit, so no surprise to see her firm to $5.50 after opening $6.50.
She is the second favourite behind Etah James. Next in betting is Imperial Aviator ($6-$7) and My Psychiatrist ($7). In terms of value, the one most liked is Parthesia ($23-$15), who comes off a just a fair run in the Penshurst Cup on Boxing Day.
