Emergency heads odds for the Civic Stakes

Battleton heads the odds for the Civic Stakes

Despite being third emergency, Battleton is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at Randwick this Saturday, the Civic Stakes (1400m).

The three year old comes back to 1400m after racing over the mile in the Gunsynd two weeks ago when second to Kiss Sum and looks well placed back in trip. He’s been $4.20 to $4.00.

There has been a number of moves for runners at odds, notably Tamahere ($16 – $14), True Detective ($12 – $10) and Mariamia, who has been $6.50 to $5.50.
