Demerara heads an open market in Saturday's Denise's Joy Stakes
Demerara is the class runner of the field in the Denise’s Joy Stakes (1100m) this Saturday at Scone and punters are just leaning her way in early betting.
She hasn’t raced since the PJ Bell during the Championships where she ran a close up fourth to Houtzen. Been freshened up and despite drawing awkwardly, she’s the popular elect, into $4 after opening $4.20.
On the second line of betting is Sasso Corbaro, who resumes for Kris Lees. She’s at $4.80 and well backed after opening $5.50. Resin, a stablemate of Demerara, is at $6.50 and unchanged.
