Debut winners head markets for the Magic Millions Classic

Shaquero has opened as the equal favourite for next months Magic Millions Classic

Debut winners Shaquero and Vandoula Lass have opened $6 ‘All In’ equal favourites at TAB to win the 2021 Magic Millions 2YO Classic at Gold Coast on Saturday, January 16.

The Chris Waller-trained colt Shaquero was victorious in the Breeders’ Plate at Royal Randwick on October 3 after winning his first trial at Gold Coast on September 21 over 900 metres.

The Team Hawkes-trained filly Vandoula Lass was an impressive winner at Sandown Hillside two days ago over 1000 metres with Craig Williams aboard.

Captivant – winner of the Victory Vein Plate at Royal Randwick on October 17 – and Fake Love – victorious in the Debutant Stakes at Caulfield on October 10 – are both rated $8 chances ahead of Readily Availabull ($11) who was triumphant in the Magic Millions Clockwise Classic at Ballarat on November 21.
