Chantrea is the well backed favourite in todays La Trice Classic

Chantrea is favourite with Sportsbet to get her first win for the prep when she lines up in the La Trice Classic(1800m) this afternoon at Ascot.

The Lindsey Smith trained mare has been good without winning in both runs back from a spell but out in trip, hard fit now, and Pike sticking, she looks the most likely. Sits at $2.80 and has been rock solid after opening $2.70.

There has been good support for Naughty By Nature. She opened $8.50 and was right into as short as $4.40 before settling at $5.50. She sits on the third line of betting behind Dance Music, who is $3.50 to $4 and has been soft.
