Cardinal Gem heads odds for the Silver Bowl Series Final

Cardinal Gem is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au in the get out this Saturday at Flemington, the Silver Bowl Final (1600m).

The Grahame Begg trained galloper was a tough winner last Saturday at Caulfield after sitting wide no cover for the trip. He looks like he will eat up the mile and maps ideally. He’s at $2.90.

He holds the call over Arran Bay, who is at $6.00. He sits on the second line of betting, a point clear of talented filly Literary Magnate, who dodges the fillies in the Rivette to take on the boys here.
