Futures bettors have rubbed their hands with glee following the outstanding debut of the 2YO filly ENTHAAR.
Ridden by James McDonald, who won the first four races at Randwick, Enthaar (Written Tycoon-Final Agreement) has firmed up to win the G1 Golden Slipper next year from $17 to $9 after totally dominating the Gr 3 Gimcrack Stakes over 1000m.
She ran 57.06sec to win ears pricked, eased down by 3 lengths from Mallory and Total Babe.
And this was the 2nd fastest Gimcrack ever run.
Enthaar looked like Capitalist and almost like Luskin Star with the way she just went bang at the 250m when asked to extend by Jay Mac.
“She’s the most mature of the early two-year-olds I’ve sat on,” McDonald said.
“She’s just fully there. Her action is so strong. Mentally, she is so strong and with her high cruising speed that she possesses it’s going to hold her in great stead.”
McDonald, who went down by half a head in race 5 the Gr 1 Flight Stakes, when going for the first 5 races, looked awesome on top of this 2YO filly.
His Excellency, Nassah Lootah owns Enthaar.
