General Beau has been crunched at a price in Saturday's Blue Diamond Stakes
Punters have opened their wallets and put their cash on in form colt to take out the Blue Diamond (1200m) this Saturday at Caulfield.
The thought process is that if General Beau was to win a Blue Diamond, he’d need to draw a good gate to run out 1200m. Well, he has drawn barrier three and with Jamie Kah steering, he’s been very popular. Opened $9 and is now into $5.50 second favourite.
Enthaar remains the dominant favourite at $2.40, slightly out from $2.20 but nothing alarming despite the vet check on Friday. Anamoe is rock solid at $7.50 after opening as a $9.50 chance.
The notable firmer at odds is Construct, into as short as $31 from $71 but now sits at $34.
