Tosen Stardom just holds the call over stablemate Humidor when it comes to the market for the feature at Flemington this Saturday, the Blamey Stakes (1600m).
The pair clashed in the Futurity at Caulfield, won by stablemate Brave Smash, with Tosen Stardom second and Humidor. It’s the former who holds the call at $2.25, opening $2.30 and touching $2.20. Humidor is a $2.50 chance and pretty solid after touching $2.45.
There has been support for the Tassie war horse Hellova Street, who got to $9.50 from $8.50 but is back to his opening price with punters thinking he’ll get a soft lead. Odeon ($8.50-$9) is the only other winning hope according to the market which suggests its basically a two horse race.
