Stradbroke Handicap winner Black Piranha is favoured to return a winner with punters in Wednesdayâ€™s Group III Cameron Handicap at Newcastle.
Betchoiceâ€™s Mark Cruickshank said the agency posted the Con Karakatsanis-trained galloper at $3.20 before receiving constant stream of support for the gelding.
â€œAs soon as we went up they came for Black Piranha,â€ Cruickshank said. â€œHeâ€™s the only they are interested in.â€
TAB Sportsbet is offering $2.90 about Black Piranhaâ€™s chances with Ahdashim the second favourite at $4.80 ($5 Betchoice) with Absolutelyfabulous ($7 Betchoice) and Royal Discretion ($5.50 Betchoice) equal third favourites at $6.50.
