Overall Results (Since June 7): $5514 Profit
Bet One- Win- Warwick Farm Race One Number 6 Orcein:
Was hoping they’d miss him but they haven’t. I think he’s a good bet to start the day. Resumed over 1250m at Canterbury and I thought he was a little unlucky not to finish closer behind Nicco Lad, just getting held up when wanting to build the revs. Looked strong in a recent tick over trial, J Mac on…hopefully get better than $3.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win (Tote)
Bet Two- Win- Warwick Farm Race Three Number 1 Scratches:
Another that should win but hopefully come post time she’ll get to $2+. Ran over 1900m last Wednesday at Rosehill and I thought she did a very good job in defeat when beaten narrowly by Lady Evelyn. Waller doesn’t back them up unless they’re a serious winning chance and I think if she handles the back up, she’ll be far too good.
Suggested Bet: $50 Win (Tote)
Bet Three- Each Way- Warwick Farm Race Four Number 11 Adamina:
Pretty decent 3YO race this but I think she’s worth an each way gamble at the odds. Won her maiden at Hawkesbury last time and loved the way she knuckled down late. She was looking as if she’d turn it up but she chased and pinned the ears back, drawing clear for a nice win. Should get over from the wide gate and I think is worth something small each way.
Suggested Bet: $10 E/W (Tote)
Bet Four- Win- Warwick Farm Race Six Number 5 Almanzora:
If the track is playing fair, she’ll win. Brilliant win two back at Randwick before racing on the Kensington track and not quite overcoming the bias when fourth to Prince Mayted. Solid tick over trial at Rosehill and here, there should be good speed via Puppet Master, so she’ll get her chance to run on and for mine is a good thing.
Suggested Bet: $120 Win at $2.8 (Sportsbet)
Bet Five- Win- Ballarat Race Five Number 3 Ocean Walzer:
Not surprised he has been best backed in early betting for this race. He looks to be a real working progress for Darren Weir. Former German who won the maiden two back at Swan Hill before going to Newcastle where he was given a peach by McEvoy and the horse just got there. Hopefully that trip away will spark him and let him show his true potential.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $3.9 (BetEasy)
Total Spend: $250
