Tuesday Results: $34 Loss
Last 10 Days: LLLLLLWLWL
Overall Results (Since June 7): $5551 Profit
Bet One- Win- Randwick Race One Number 4 Ritmico:
He opened $10 and not surprised he has firmed. Debut win at Newcastle was outstanding given he was only fully clear for about 120m & savaged the line, with the runner up and third horse winning subsequent. Looks a potential Carbine Club horse IMO but would want to be winning tomorrow to warrant the trip south.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $8 (Sportsbet)
Bet Two- Each Way- Caulfield Race One Number 6 Opposition:
I think the trip away, getting back to Melbourne could spark him into action. Forget his run in the Metropolitan last time given the tempo was stop/start and he was out the back, seemingly with no hope. Severe drop in depth this time around and has run well in Melbourne before. Think you’ll get better come post time.
Suggested Bet: $30 E/W (Tote)
Bet Three- Win- Caulfield Race Three Number 7 Fifty Stars:
Like him, but gee at the moment he’s short enough. Very promising galloper for Darren Weir who resumed in a hot open handicap on Benalla Cup Day and his run was absolutely outstanding after doing work in the run, beaten by Sheriff John Stone. If that run hasn’t busted him, I think he’ll take care of these and go on to better things. Odds on to short though.
Suggested Bet: $50 Win (Tote)
Bet Four- Win- Caulfield Race Four Number 2 Take It Intern:
Like him alot here. He made his Australian debut over 1400m here where he was somewhat run off his legs early but balanced and 250m out he was there to win but just ran out of puff late when fourth to Cliff’s Edge. Up to 1700m with the fitness under the belt looks an ideal recipe and this field clearly has not as much depth. Hoping he can get to $4+.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win (Tote)
Bet Five- Win- Caulfield Race Seven Number 3 Trekking:
I think he’s the safe option. He is just a beauty for James Cummings with the horse really turning the corner since being gelded. He was a strong winner of the Testa Rossa at this track/distance and despite getting held up early, he finished best and won impressively. I think he can continue the picket fence.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win (Tote)
Total Spend: $200
