Overall Results (Since June 7): $4816 Profit
Bet One- Win- Canterbury Race Three Number 4 Happy Bubbles:
Looks a strong program in Sydney but very keen to see how this horse goes. Gerald Ryan trains this three year old, who debuted over 900m at Newcastle where he was badly held up early on in the straight when bolting but once he got clear, he exploded and won most impressively. Gets run of the race from the draw and should take beating.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $3.5 (BetEasy)
Bet Two- Win- Bendigo Race Three Number 4 Yulong Meteor:
Synthetic form is hard to trust when it comes to the turf but I think we can trust this filly. Trialled up well prior to resuming on the Pakenham Synthetic where she sat last in the small field before peeling wide and finishing off in such dominant fashion under minimal riding. Looks a real Oaks type, so up to the mile looks ideal.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $4.5 (Sportsbet)
Bet Three- Each Way- Bendigo Race Six Number 3 Azuro:
I can’t believe he’s $20+. He ran over 2000m at Cranbourne last time where he got back in the run before peeling wide on the turn where the eventual winner and stablemate Haripour saved ground inside him and dashed on the turn. Don’t think there is that sort of brilliance here and up to 2400m looks a big tick for him.
Suggested Bet: $10 Win/$20 Place at $19/$5.5 (BetEasy)
Bet Four- Quaddie- Sunshine Coast Quaddie:
Hoping more than confident about this one. I think we can get the first leg out of the way nice and early via Willo Titto, who should win. Speed looks strong in race five, so I’m including four runners who should get a nice sit off that and launch late. The Zoff looks hard to beat in race six while in the last I’m going wide and cheering for Cavalli.
Suggested Bet: $50 10/3-6-7-10/3-4-5-11/3-5-6-7-9= 62.5%
Bet Five- Each Way- Balaklava Race Eight Number 10 Silent Warrior:
I’m hoping the tempo is solid enough for this bloke to get his chance to run on. His two runs back from a break have been at WFA in the Spring Stakes and Penny Edition where he has run really well without winning. Good third up record, onto the bigger track and back to a handicap, I think he can only run well.
Suggested Bet: $10 E/W (Tote)
Total Spend: $160
