Bet One- Win Multi- Warwick Farm Star Of The Seas R4/Seaglass R6:
Around $9 for this all up, which I think is good value for a couple of horses who I think are good value, over their true odds. Star Of The Seas won well first up and looks in battle with Spring Charlie, and Seaglass was stiff at RFandwick first up and that form has already been franked via Oria. I think both go close to winning.
Suggested Bet: $15 (Tote)
Bet Two- Win- Warwick Farm Race Four Number 6 Star Of The Seas:
Looks a nice type for Chris Waller who should take some beating. Resumed at the track/distance where he was near the speed throughout until Bowman asked the gelding for the effort and he immediately responded, putting them away quite comfortably, running the quicker of two 1200m races that afternoon. Spring Charlie is the early plunge horse, and rightfully so after smashing the clock first up, but gee he’s short enough.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $2.70 (Sportsbet)
Bet Three- Win- Warwick Farm Race Six Number 8 Seaglass:
Talented mare for Team Snowden who is second up here. Resumed over 1200m at Randwick a tick under a fortnight back and gee if you were on, it was tough watching. She and Bella Success were the unlucky runs, but admittedly, Seaglass was able to make ground near the inside, which was where the bias was. Should get decent three wide cover here and launch late.
Suggested Bet: $25 Win at $3.10 (Crownbet)
Bet Four- Each Way- Warwick Farm Race Seven Number 16 The Iron Maiden:
She’s an 86 start veteran, but gee she’s racing in near career best form at the moment. Bolted up two back over the Gosford mile before racing at the Wrwick Farm mile last time where she got too far back but I liked the way she closed off, one of only a couple to do so in the race. She seems crazy odds to me at $20+.
Suggested Bet: $5 E/W (Tote)
Bet Five- Each Way- Sale Race One Number 6 Blond Ruler:
Tricky 3YO maiden, but this girl at $15+ seems silly overs. Nick Ryan trains this filly, who had a recent jump out at Caulfield and to my eye I thought she went very well, sitting nearer the inside throughout and making ground without really being extended. Happy to have something on at the price in a tricky contest.
Suggested Bet: $10 E/W at $14/$4.2 (Crownbet)
Total Spend: $100
