Kembla Grange Overview:
Good luck if you want to dive into either Deelbraka/Disco Mo. They have shown limited ability to date, so have to go with the Australian first starter for Australian Bloodstock, Agosto. Had two runs in France where he was solid, and look at last start. He ran fourth, beaten seven lengths by boom stayer Attorney. That form reads very well for a weak Kembla maiden and was given a good hitout in a recent Rosehill trial. Emergent has been waiting for a dry track and he gets it here, so it’s D-Day. Looked like he was bolting up to win at Warwick Farm last time but the wheels were spinning on the bog track and he didn’t finish the job. Dry track, soft gate, hard fit, Avdulla…looks his race. I think there are two that are overs, starting with Escaped in the fourth, who resumes for the in form WaterBott team off the back of two very good trials. Just didn’t handle the bog track on debut in the Lonhro Plate. $8 seems overs, especially if Nash comes out humming. Another that will lap up a firm surface is Fluidity. Her trials at the start of the prep suggested she had come back well but wet tracks haven’t allowed her to showcase her ability. There were good signs at Newcastle last time when on a Soft5, getting back, held up, before getting clear late and finding the line. At around $5 for the place, I’m more than happy to include her.
