Saturday Results: $819 Profit
Last 10 Days: WWLLLLLLLL
Overall Results (Since June 7): $6204 Profit
Bet One- Win- Wyong Race Seven Number 7 Invictum Domina:
I think anything at $2+ is overs. She should be putting this field away. Brad Widdup has this former Hayes/Dabernig mare in career best form at the moment, winning her past two. The last start win was on the Kensington track at Randwick where she proved too good for the Group class mare Savacool. Should lead these for fun and prove too good.
Suggested Bet: $50 Win at $2.15 (BetEasy)
Bet Two- Win- Nowra Race Two Number 1 Elkano:
I’ll take a chance on him returning to his best. Trialled up well enough prior to resuming at this track/distance and on face value, he was disappointing behind Golly I’m Lucky but he was first up over 1400m and they did run good time. 1/1 on wet ground and I don’t think the depth here is anywhere near as strong. Hoping that run has brought him on.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $4 (Neds)
Bet Three- Each Way- Nowra Race Six Number 6 Lucky Prospector:
Most interesting runner of the day. Formerly with Robert Smerdon, then had a short stint with Henry Dwyer and is now under the care of Tash Burleigh. He was very hot and cold when he raced in Victoria but there was no denying his talent when he wanted to display it. Stable is batting at 27% with their first up runners so he’s a huge watch. Only negative would be if we got a seriously wet track.
Suggested Bet: $50 E/W at $16/$4.4 (Sportsbet)
Bet Four- Win- Sunshine Coast Race Eight Number 7 Hang:
Made him the best of the afternoon. Michael Nolan has got this horse going really well since being transferred from Ben Currie. Ran over the mile at Doomben last time on the bog where he was second up, lacking that hard fitness, but he fought on really well behind an in form/hard fit animal in Zofonic Dancer. He’s very good on wet ground and is 2/2 when produced third up. Remaining at the mile the slight niggle but he’s got class/quality.
Suggested Bet: $100 Win at $4 (Bet365)
Bet Five- Win- Naracoorte Race Four Number 1 Creance:
Creance is a John Macmillan trained galloper who is found a new lease on life at staying trips. Ran over 2000m at Strathalbyn last time where I thought Stubby gave the horse every chance to win but he couldn’t quite get past Sanima Star. He’s a hard fit/in form horse. Just needs to put a win on the board now.
Suggested Bet: $20 Win (Tote)
Total Spend: $300
