Bet One- Win- Hawkesbury Race Two Number 2 Equipped:
I do think the $1.85/thereabouts is acceptable because he does look better than these. Been racing quite well at metro level without winning, the latest run being at Rosehill when three lengths off Mazaz, who would be $1.10 against this lot. Beautifully in after the claim for Robbie Dolan and is a horse who thrives on a track with give in it. Should be winning.
Suggested Bet: $60 Win at $1.75 (Neds)
Bet Two- Each Way- Bendigo Race Six Number 2 Three Strykes:
I think she’s definitely worth an each way ticket. Resumed at Ararat on November 25 and against the track pattern, she worked home nicely from the back to run fourth in a really good resumption. Fab second up record but the one knock would be the chance of a wet track. Hasn’t done much in two runs on soft ground, so that would be the only negative with her. $3.90 at the time of writing is far too short though. Hopefully gets to $5-$6.
Suggested Bet: $20 E/W (Tote)
Bet Three- Win- Sunshine Coast Race Six Number 12 Iron Dome:
Iron Dome is a son of Smart Missile who looks to be absolutely flying at the moment for the in form Michael Costa team. This four year old last raced on his home track at the Gold Coast last Saturday where he did pull a fraction in the run off the speed but once presented clear air, gee he let down like a good horse and won impressively. Confident he can measure up.
Suggested Bet: $100 Win at $5 (Sportsbet)
Bet Four- Win- Bordertown Race Three Number 4 Looking Around:
He’s a maiden in a benchmark race, but he looks a good thing. Sue Jaensch trains this gelding, who ran in a Naracoorte maiden last time and tried hard but was beaten by a pretty good one I think in Crown Harmonium. Breeding says he’ll eat up a wet track and last start was on soft ground, which he seemed to get through okay. Like him alot here.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $3.5 (Bet365)
Bet Five- Each Way- Bordertown Race Seven Number 3 Athos:
Athos looks to have come back in really good order for the Sue Murphy stable. Surged hard to win two back over 2000m at Naracoorte before racing at the track/distance again and closing off from the back to run fourth. Was nominated to run in town last Saturday so the stable must think he’s going well. and he does have a good record at the track/distance.
Suggested Bet: $20 Win/$30 Place at $6.5/$2.35 (Sportsbet)
Total Spend: $280
