Looks really good racing right across Australia this Saturday, so here is my $100 Betting Strategy across the main meetings for the weekend. Note prices quoted are at the time of writing.
Bet One: Win- Randwick Race Seven Number 2 Kementari:
Is it the same thought process that we had with Vega Magic last Saturday when it comes to 2 Kementari? Chips in for the resumption, bolt in and secure an Everest slot. He’s a high class four year old resuming after a fab Autumn prep, which included an outstanding Randwick Guineas triumph. Ended the prep with a luckless 10th in the Doncaster. Two trials leading in have been super…he’s ready to rock and roll. Even money more than acceptable for a horse who probably, at his best, is a $1.6-$1.7 pop.
Bet: $50 Win at $2 (Crownbet)
Bet Two: Win- Doomben Race Six Number 10 Italia Bella:
I think only bad luck sees Italia Bella get rolled here. She’s shown glimpses of blacktype ability in the past but a combo of poor runs/rides along with strange placement have hampered her career. Loved the way she put them away over the 1350m here a fortnight back. Beat the older horses and did it quite dominantly, beating Looks Like Elvis, who won last Saturday to frank the form. Keen.
Bet: $15 Win (Tote)
Bet Three: Win- Doomben Race Nine Number 6 Natch:
If he holds his form, Natch will prove too good once again. Tony Gollan has this horse absolutely low flying at the moment, winning his past three starts in pretty dominant fashion, including a fortnight back at this track/distance when running sizzling time and doing it comfortably. Hard to see him getting beat unless he’s trained off.
Bet: $15 Win (Tote)
Bet Four: Win- Morphettville Parks Race One Number 4 See Me Fly:
The Ellerton/Zahra team train this bloke, who hasn’t raced since June 9 over 1400m at Flemington when finishing midfield behind the in form Barthelona. He’s a really good fresh who finds a winnable race and the tick over trial behind Vega Magic was very good. Surprised he hasn’t opened fav.
Bet: $10 Win at $3.8 (TAB)
Bet Five: Win- Morphettville Parks Race Two Number 2 Embecee Lil:
Looks one of the good bets of the day right across Australia. Ryan Balfour has this mare going so well at the moment. Soft win here two back over the 1250m before stepping up to this track/distance where she was unlucky. Not sure she would have beaten Exalted Adam but just had no luck when looking for it. Not as much depth this time around, keen. $3 more than acceptable.
Bet: $10 Win at $3 (TAB)
Total Spend: $100
