Sunday Results: $138 Loss
Last 10 Days: LLWLLWLWLW
Overall Results (Since June 7): $4859 Profit
Bet One- Each Way- Wellington Race Two Number 2 Bel Twista:
I reckon this bloke can run a race at odds. Rodney Robb trains this son of Bel Esprit, who ran on a Dubbo bog last time where he was wide no cover throughout, with the the best ground seemingly being nearer the inside. The form out of that has been decent, he draws better and will be much better suited on firmer footing.
Suggested Bet: $10 E/W (Tote)
Bet Two- Each Way- Queanbeyan Race Four Number 3 Old Man’s Angel:
He looks the value. Ran over 2000m during the Taree Carnival where he got well back off the pace and tried hard to make ground but the race was somewhat dominated by those near the speed. This does look a decent drop in depth for this Theresa Bateup runner and I think the give in the track will suit him.
Suggested Bet: $10 Win/$20 Place at $6/$2.25 (Sportsbet)
Bet Three- Each Way- Queanbeyan Race Six Number 7 Tearful Kitty:
I can’t remember the Trevor Sutherland stable going as well as it has at the moment. This mare is a month between runs since racing on her home track at Wagga over 1200m where she just got too far back off the pace but I liked the way she closed off late. If she is within range on the turn, she’ll take some beating.
Suggested Bet: $10 Win/$20 Place at $7/$2.5 (Sportsbet)
Bet Four- Win- Wodonga Race One Number 7 Mrs O’Malley:
I think she’s nearly the bet of the day. Has done plenty wrong/had no luck in both career outings, starting on the Geelong Synthetic before going to the Pakenham Synthetic where you could make a case she should have won but had no luck in the straight behind Inglesias. On the turf now and third up, she should know what the caper is about by now.
Suggested Bet: $40 Win at $4.5 (Sportsbet)
Bet Five- Win- Wodonga Race Two Number 7 Manasari:
Keen on this Hayes/Dabernig trained filly. Was keen on her chances when she debuted at Bendigo and despite sitting wide no cover on speed, she stuck on really well in defeat when third to Trigger Point. Senior jock on and draws much better this time around, and I think the overall depth here is inferior to what she faced on debut.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $5.5 (Sportsbet)
Total Spend: $150
