Thursday Results: $88 Profit
Last 10 Days: WWWWLWLLLL
Overall Results (Since June 7): $5294 Profit
Bet One- Quaddie- Wyong Quaddie:
I think it’s more a treble than quaddie. Smart Melody should win race five, the first leg. She looks to have blacktype written all over and only bad luck is the only thing. The Mona Lisa looks a beauty with Shumookh the one to beat but there looks to be potential value. The Cup looks a beauty and I think the old boy Destiny’s Kiss can run a race. The last race I’ve narrowed it down to four hopes.
Suggested Bet: $50 8/4-7-8-10/1-2-4-5-6/4-5-6-11= 62.5%
Bet Two- Each Way- Goulburn Race Two Number 5 Bang On Target:
Smart Missile filly for John Thompson who was somewhat unwanted when debuting in a Kembla Grange maiden and while I doubt she beat much, you really had to like the way she finished off her race to nab Bisque on the peg. Form out of that has been decent enough and the extra furlong should only help her cause.
Suggested Bet: $20 E/W (Tote)
Bet Three- Win- Rockhampton Race Five Number 8 Southern Special:
Looks a lovely race for this six year old despite the tricky gate. Was three weeks between runs when racing over 1100m here last time where he loomed very large to win but the bob of the head didn’t go his way when second to Golden Esprit. The gate is a concern, but I’ll leave that in the capable hands of Ryan Wiggins.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win (Tote)
Bet Four- Win- Birdsville Race Six Number 4 Rooi Roe:
How/why is this mare not a clear fav? Think she’s clear overs. Hasn’t raced for nearly a month since racing in a decent Saturday metro race at Doomben where she closed off well to run second to impressive winner Prue’s Angel. Outstanding fresh horse and has run well at this track before. I think she’s a near good thing.
Suggested Bet: $50 Win at $4 (Ladbrokes)
Bet Five- Each Way- Mildura Race One Number 1 Eden Eagle:
The Hobson/Macfarlane combo should always be respected and I think they can run a bold race here via Eden Eagle. He ran over 2100m last time at Swan Hill and was solid enough in defeat, whacking away when fourth to Ocean Walzer. Significant drop in depth and with some head gear tinkering, I think he can improve.
Suggested Bet: $20 E/W (Tote)
Total Spend: $210
