The Peter Snowden trained Beaded has been heavily backed for the Stradbroke with Sportingbet Australia after the mare impressed when trialling strongly at Rosehill on Tuesday morning.
Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said a number of big bets had seen her trim up from $15 to $10.
“We took $4000 worth of bets at $15 and another $2000 at $13 as soon as we turned her off,†Sullivan said.
“She is now on the fourth line of betting behind Sincero, Hay List and Black Caviar who is extremely unlikely to run.
“While it is a big step up to win her first Group 1 race, she has gone well in Brisbane at this time of year before and she hasn’t been far off them in top company.â€
SIncero is currently the $4.20 favourite at Sportingbet Ahead of Black Caviar at $6.50 and Hay List at $7.50.
