Ballistic Boy, a close up second in the Gunsynd Classic last time out, is the Sportsbet.com.au to go one better when he lines up this Saturday at Eagle Farm in the Rough Habit Plate (2200m).
The Chris Anderson trained three year old surged hard late two weeks ago in the 1800m contest but couldn’t quite get there in a close photo finish, narrowly beaten by Supergiant ($4-$3.9). Up to 2200m looks ideal hence why he heads the market at $2.70.
Supergiant is on the second line of betting ahead of Navy Cross, who has no turn of foot but will have no trouble at a strong 2200m if his win last Wednesday at the Sunny Coast is any guide. He’s out a half point from $6.50.
