Punters think it’s a case of ‘any price’ when it comes to Libertini when she makes her return to racing at Randwick this Saturday in the Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m).
The Anthony Cummings trained filly has been the talk of Sydney racing in recent weeks given how well she’s trialled leading in. She was $2 all in but Final Field opened $1.70 and that was taken immediately, now into $1.65 after bottoming out at $1.60, but is clearly the most popular runner on the program in early betting.
Flit is out to $5 from $4.80 off the back of a suspect trial while stablemate Tenley hasn’t budged from $5. Let It Pour, who is still a maiden, is at $13 and also hasn’t budged from that price.
