Edward Lynam’s Group One winner Sole Power is being readied for the Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan on March 26.
The four-year-old has not been seen in competitive action since springing a 100-1 shock in the Nunthorpe Stakes at York in August, but his Irish trainer will have him back in action on World Cup night.
“He’s in good form and he goes to Dubai for the Al Quoz Sprint,” said Lynam.
“He’ll head out there next weekend and hopefully he’s fit enough and ready to run. It’s his first start for a long time, but it’s a good place to start off.
“Hopefully he’ll end up at Royal Ascot later in the year and he’ll definitely be back at York for the Nunthorpe.”
