The Tim Martin trained daughter of Encosta de Lago “Sasa” will be looking to go one better than her last start in Group 1 company in Saturday’s $1 million dollar Golden Rose at Rosehill Racecourse.Sasa has opened as one of the outsiders in the 2010 Golden Rose betting markets currently $41/1 although she is a Group 1 placed filly and is coming off a very luckless 8th in the Run To The Rose which was won by Squamosa.
Sasa was bought for $220,000 from the Australian Easter Yearling Sale last year and has already recouped her owners $87,050 in her first 5 races although connections will be hoping to take home the $650,000 winners cheque in Saturday’s Race.
