Joe Pride has priced himself out of the market for the family of Parfore by training her sons Tiger Tees and Terravista to Group One wins.

So he considers himself lucky to have secured her grand-daughter for $140,000 before Terravista joined Lankan Rupee at the top of the world sprint rankings.

Lady Carnoustie, a daughter of Ininthree, is scheduled to make her first public appearance in a barrier trial at Warwick Farm on Monday.

Her illustrious relatives are also competing in heats and Pride is keen to see if the Darci Brahma filly can confirm she has inherited the family traits.

“She is a really nice filly,” Pride said.

“I got her for $140,000 at the Premier Sale and I probably won’t be able to afford them anymore.”

Tiger Tees, Terravista and their stakes winning brother Ball Of Muscle all began their careers as three-year-olds but Pride says the filly may get to the track sooner rather than later.

“She is pretty forward and she could well go to the races as a two-year-old,” he said.

Terravista and Tiger Tees run against each other in the same 800m trial with their Group One placed stablemate Rain Affair in another heat.

“The plan with Terravista remains the same which is to go to the Newmarket first-up,” Pride said.

“Tiger Tees could go to the Lightning Stakes but that is weather dependent. He will be chasing wet tracks.”

With the big autumn races just weeks away, several other Group One winners will be in action in trials at Randwick on Tuesday.

Among them is dual Doncaster Mile winner Sacred Falls who runs in a 1050m trial which heralds the return of 2013 BMW winner Fiveandahalfstar from a long injury break.
