Cox Plate winner Shamus Award headlines a field of eight for Saturday’s Group One CF Orr Stakes at Caulfield.
The Danny O’Brien-trained three-year-old resumes in the 1400m weight-for-age feature and will jump from the outside barrier with Craig Williams to ride.
Shamus Award is one of two three-year-olds taking on the older horses in the race along with the Bart and James Cummings-trained Group Two winner Eurozone.
Connections of Victoria Derby winner Polanski, however, have decided to bypass the Orr Stakes and instead the colt will resume against his own age in the Group Two Autumn Stakes on Saturday.
Sydney’s premier trainer Chris Waller has Foreteller and Hawkspur resuming in the Orr.
Foreteller will jump from barrier two while Hawkspur will begin from the rails draw.
The Peter Moody-trained Moment Of Change has barrier seven.
The nine-race Caulfield meeting will start at the early time of 11am with the last race at 3.20pm due to forecast hot weather.
