It was a daring ride by Kevin Forrester on Mujadale but it paid off with an all the way win in the Ballarat Cup from At First Site in second and last years winner Fat Al in third.
Race favourite Spinderbella was a late scratching in the race which threw markets out leaving the heavily backed Electric Fusion as favourite in fixed odds at jump but he was never in the race.
