Unfortunately for the connections of Havana and Il Cavallo there has been no late scratchings in today’s Golden Slipper thus both runners have missed out on a spot in the field. Il Cavallo had received specking from punters throughout the week in hope that he would line up in the field today with his odds getting as short as $17.
Havana on the other hand wasn’t in the market and despite being the first emergency received no support from punters. But due to there being no scratchings both runners have missed a spot in the field.
