Mark Kavanagh is once again celebrating Cup glory with Shocking after the 2009 Melbourne Cup winner returned to form with a dominant victory in the Group 1 Darley Australian Cup (2000m).
Shocking defeated Lloyd Williams’ grey Linton and Perth three year old Playing God.
Fellow Perth star Scenic Shot was fourth.
Shocking will now head to Sydney to contest the Group 1 The BMW (2400m) at Rosehill on April 2.
