Werribee- Friday, April 24, Weather Fine, Track Soft.
Heat One- Let’s Make A Deal (1st):
Quality mare that made the ‘Trial Watch’ file a couple of weeks back and she made it again here with arguably the best performance of the morning, where she jumped well to lead and pretty much just towed Dwayne Dunn throughout. Very impressive and no doubt she’ll be winning races this prep.
Heat Five- Code Break (1st):
A David Hayes/Tom Dabernig two year old that looked pretty sharp in this particular jump out, leading all the way to win the jump out. Was niggled a touch in the straight but overall was under no pressure and looked pretty good.
Heat Seven- About Square (3rd):
Mike Moroney sprinter that hasn’t raced since the Spring, but he looked pretty good in this particular jump out, sitting second for a majority of the jump out, but was under a grip late and was beaten off, but still ran third under a pretty good grip.
