There were some pretty impressive efforts at the Warwick Farm trials on Friday, most notably from the Team Snowden yard. Find out down below who caught our eye the most.
BLACK BOOK: Black Book these runners HERE so you don’t miss their next run!
Warwick Farm- Friday, June 12, Weather Fine, Track Synthetic/Soft.
Heat Five- Miss Tenpins (1st) and Mark’s Legacy (4th):
Quite impressed by these two runners in this trial. Miss Tenpins jumped brilliantly and led all the way, bolting in by over two lengths, and while Mark’s Legacy ran only fourth of five, he travelled very nicely and went to the line under a very good hold.
Heat Six- Quantrill (2nd):
Unraced son of Krupt for Matthew Smith who has shown good talent in three trials, the latest coming here, where he jumped okay and settled off the speed and then when presented, he let down nicely under a nice hold from Danny Beasley.
Heat Seven- Maraam (2nd):
Unraced filly for Team Snowden who hadn’t done much in two prior trials, but she looked much better here, where she settled off the speed before peeling wide on the turn, and under Winona Costin, she let down strongly under no pressure and was very impressive.
Heat Nine- Muheeb (1st):
Colt for Team Hawkes who hasn’t raced since February in the Lonhro Plate behind Haptic. Spelled, and this was his first public appearance, and he looked pretty good. Led all the way, and when challenged, he was niggled along by Tommy Berry, he responded very well and was quite impressive I thought.
