There were some nice performances at the Flemington jump outs on Friday, notably from the Hayes/Dabernig team. Who caught our eye the most? Find out down below.

Flemington- Friday, March 27, Weather Fine, Good.
Heat Four- Strindberg (1st):
Unraced Team Hawkes galloper for Vinery who looked impressive here, sitting on speed throughout after jumping well and going on to win under a hold from Dunn. Bred in the purple, so expect this colt to get his fair share of wins, and some decent ones too.
Heat Five- Mostly (1st):
Unraced gelding for the Hayes/Dabernig team who was the clear best of the morning here. Jumped well, sat three and four wide throughout on speed but pretty much just towed Michael Walker throughout in the trial and ended up winning the trial under a throttle hold. Very impressive trial.
Heat Six- Honourable Tycoon (1st):
Unraced colt for Mark Kavanagh who was very nippy in this jump out win, scooting along in front, ridden along a touch in the straight and going on to win by a space, but he did run fast time, which is the key. Good win and a nice colt who should be winning races.
Heat Ten- Tamblyn (3rd):
Unraced gelding for the Hayes/Dabernig team who looked pretty solid here. He jumped okay, settling well back in the run before peeling wide on the turn and letting down strongly under no pressure to run third. Bred to be handy, and the ability certainly is there.
